Vincent - Owner
Vinny Brown moved to Citrus County in 1984, after his father retired from the New York City Police Department. Hailing from Levittown New York, Vinny along with his parents and two of his four brothers, moved to Citrus Springs.
Vinny graduated from Lecanto High School and Withlacoochee Technical College where he studied carpentry. Upon graduation, he went to work for a local well drilling company, and from there, on to carpentry work at Florida Power. Realizing his passion for Construction work, Vinny attended the Cam Tek School of Construction in Tampa FL, earning his Residential Contractors License. Soon after, Vinny opened Brown Construction and Trim Carpentry.
With an eager to learn more about real estate, and the phases that follow construction, Vinny decided to get his real estate license. He utilizes it not to sell homes, but to better understand the buying and selling process, and what realtors, buyers, and sellers face during real estate transactions. Obtaining his license also allowed him the opportunity to discover what consumers were demanding in home construction and renovation, and which locations were trending.
The newest division to his company is home inspections. Over the last 18 years and over 18 thousand home inspections performed, Vinny has developed this portion of the business to round out the services, knowledge and experience required to be a trusted and reliable company. A home inspection performed by a professional building contractor gives each client a complete overview of the home condition from the ground up. For 35 years Vinny has been involved in the construction industry physically doing the work, and managing the projects from the ground up, which makes him familiar with all aspects of construction. Selecting a qualified home inspector is one of the most important decisions made during the home buyer’s process.
